Traverse City Vineyard Wedding
Pierce and Haley share a love of travel and good wine. So that helped them decide on Ciccone Vineyard for their fall wedding! The focus on family and friends and celebrating the love they share was truly amazing. The simple glam rustic theme was so perfect.
Petoskey State Park Maternity
This family has been a loyal client from their wedding to now, with their sweet baby girls arrival! The sand dunes at Petoskey State Park never fail to be the perfect backdrop for photos, even in the sun and 90 degree weather!
Charlevoix Wedding
This wedding was so beautiful and sweet! From her timeless, classic wedding dress to the custom wedding invitations that Nathan’s sister designed and painted. The family home is filled with so many memories and I’m sure this day created many more. Charlevoix , Michigan makes for an amazing and unique backdrop for any wedding!
Mackinac Island Engagement
This day started out so fun and it didn’t end! We rode the Starline Ferry over to the Island and headed right for the docks for some beautiful shots with the sail boats in the back. Visiting Mackinac Island is a special time and place for both Courtney and Nikolas. Make sure to stop in and get some Moomers Ice cream! It was the cutest little shop! Northern Michigan offers so many different places, it’s truly amazing to live and work here! I can’t wait for many more sessions on the Island!
Sleeping Bear Dunes Engagement
We weren’t sure if the weather was going to clear up for us as we geared up for this engagement session, but as the day went on the forecast showed a break! And on the Sleeping Bear Dunes it made the most perfect fog as we started out. Traverse City, Michigan is one of those places that offers so much. And it’s the perfect backdrop for your photos. We had the best of times with these two and I’m so excited for them!
Downtown Petoskey Engagement
These two came up for a visit this spring from Florida and while they were here, we got to hangout for an afternoon. We walked around Downtown Petoskey, stopping into North Perk Coffee for some coffee and Chai lattes. We walked down to the book store and looked at records and read some books. After that, we found a cool alley behind the JC Penney and took some photos that would work perfect for an album cover! I just love shooting in Petoskey, Michigan. It offers so many different locations in one beautiful spot! Plus, you can’t beat the Lake Michigan beaches here!
Wedding Day Timeline Tips
For the day you’ve been dreaming of, photography can be made or broken, by how well you prepare ahead of time. A simple candid photo of you fixing your hair in the mirror can be a cherished memory. But the memory of going blind after the photographer took that iconic walk down the aisle shot? Not so much. But this is a day you’ll want to commemorate for years to come. So how can you make sure that the photography is exact?
